When we talk about impact, we often want to think about the end users: what features have they shown interest in? And how many users can benefit from a product?

Time-efficiency and performance metrics are generally great metrics to keep in mind. Just think about how you surf the web:

• Do you give up if a page takes too long to load?
• What would happen if you clicked on a link and it sent you to the wrong https address?

There are certain metrics and behaviors that are key to a good user experience and you should always think about user impact as you develop AI products.
